Honoring and Celebrating Black History Month

Brandeis University honors the heritage, resilience, contributions, and scholarship of Black people during Black History Month. We would like you to pause and reflect on how you can make the communities around you more inclusive, as well as build mutual understanding and respect. To celebrate the history and recognize the excellence of individuals from communities of color, Brandeis is organizing various events across the month.

You can have a look at it through the campus calendar.

Gen One Resource Fair: Valentine's Day Theme!!

The Gen One Network is absolutely thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to our BIGGEST event of the semester - the "Valentine's Day Themed Resource Fair!"

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday, February 14th

Time: 3:00 -5:00pm

Location: International Lounge in Usdan

We want this event to be about a celebration of love and support within our Gen One community. At this fair, we'll have representatives from Student Financial Services (SFS), Hiatt Career Center, Department of Community Living (DCL), Academic Advising, and The Study Abroad Office.

But that's not all! To truly embrace the spirit of Valentine's Day, we will have roses, sweet treats, prizes, and more!!

We can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day with you!

We are also reaching out to ask for volunteers to help out at the event during set up and break down:

Set up from 2:00 to 3:00 pm

Take down from 5:00 to 6:00 pm

Volunteering is a great way to engage with the community and support an event that benefits all of us. If you're interested in helping out, please reply to genoneadvisory-group@brandeis.edu and let us know what shift you want to take.
