On or after June 6 please download our new app from the app store and visit
https://www.genfed.com
/
to log in to the enhanced online banking site. The old app will no longer function after June 5 at 6 PM.
Because of the update, all electronic banking will be unavailable from Tuesday, June 5 at 6 PM Eastern until Wednesday, June 6 at 8 AM.
The current app will be removed from the Apple and Google stores on Friday, June 1. The new app will be added early next week. If necessary, in place of the app during this blackout time you can use
https://securebanking.genfed.com
for mobile access.
After the update, if you have not logged into electronic banking for six months you will be prompted to re-enroll. For current users the ID will be the current member number and the password is your current password.
You will only need to enroll either on mobile or PC, not both. Once you have enrolled you will be able to login on mobile or desktop using the credentials you established on or after June 6th.
Please be sure you have a current phone number on file with GenFed ahead of the June 6 update so that you can seamlessly log into the new system that day. You may need to authenticate your login by either a text or voice call to a valid phone number. Please also be sure you know your full Social Security Number, account number, zip code and birthdate for the first login on the new system.
Instead of your account number you’ll be able to choose a personalized user name at set-up.
IMPORTANT: your old online banking account alerts, automatic transfers, and personalized settings may not automatically move over to the new platform. Please check all settings after June 6 to be sure they are set up correctly.
