Researching In Newspapers

Homework for next session:

For our next session, find newspaper articles on your target ancestors (the ones you’ve chosen to work on during the course of our meetings). Be sure you record the information on where you found the articles. We will share what you’ve found in small groups in the next class meeting.

Maryland Genealogical Society Membership

You will received an email from the MGS with your membership login information. If you do not receive those credentials, please email president@mdgensoc.org.

The "Members Only" area of the MGS website includes access to full-text searchable copies of all volumes of the Maryland Genealogical Society Bulletin (1960-2007) plus research databases and other material. The newest database is an index of early Baltimore City marriage licenses.
