TECH IMPACT LAUNCHES CAREER MOBILITY APP

DESIGNED TO BETTER CONNECT TRAINING PARTNERS WITH RESIDENTS SEARCHING FOR EMPLOYMENT


Tech Impact recently announced its partnership with the Delaware Workforce Development Board and the Delaware Department of Labor to launch a first-of-its-kind career mobility app, Delaware Career Mobility App. The innovative Career Mobility App is designed to bridge the gap between Delaware job seekers and the training programs they need to advance their careers, directly addressing the state's growing workforce demands. 


With more than 33,000 vacant positions at Delaware's largest employers and an unemployment rate of 4.5% — this app is a timely solution. It offers an accessible, user-friendly platform that connects Delaware residents with over 200 training programs across sectors like nursing, technology, and construction. Read more >

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE


Automation happens and it's frequently disruptive. Look at these pictures carefully. That’s Fifth Avenue in New York City Easter morning in 1900 (top) and again in 1913 (bottom). For centuries, man had gotten around on horseback or in carriages pulled by horses. Then in 1885, Karl Benz introduced the world to a small engine-driven means of transportation. However, road networks were built for horses and carriages and certainly not for anything like Benz’s invention. Read more >

Our networking breakfast guests enjoyed an inspiring experience at Hockessin Colored School #107C on Wednesday. Ninety-four-year-old Former Student James “Sonny” Knott shared his experiences while attending the school and the major role it played in the Brown v. Board of Education case in 1954.
