Our featured presentation will be "Countdown to a Crisis" with guest speaker Lori Teranishi, Principal of IQ360. She has helped to navigate companies out of cyber breach PR nightmares.
Lori is the founder and principal of iQ 360, with more than 25 years of experience providing award-winning strategic communications solutions to business leaders, global corporations, innovative startups, nonprofits and government agencies.
Lori’s expertise lies in public relations, crisis communications, litigation communications, issues management and corporate positioning. She has a successful track record of protecting executive and brand reputations in the face of high-profile litigation, mass company layoffs, regulatory investigations (congressional, FTC, DOJ, EPA, FDIC), bankruptcy and reorganization, product defects, natural disasters and class actions, including one of the largest class-action settlements in U.S. history. Her work has been recognized by Ragan’s PR Daily Awards and PRSA Hawaii.
Before founding iQ 360, Lori oversaw product and technology PR as a vice president at Visa, where she launched a global loyalty program. She also served as chief of staff to Visa’s chief operating officer.
She holds bachelor’s degrees in mass communications and political science from the University of Utah, and received the Department of Communications’ Alumni Achievement Award in 2019. She earned her MBA from the University of San Francisco.
