TwoSecond Employer Survey to release
IMRF will distribute its Second Quarter Employer Survey on Wednesday, July 5. The survey will be distributed via email to all Authorized Agents and Web Assistants, and should take less than five minutes to complete.

IMRF continues its service mission to gauge employers' experiences and opinions through streamlined surveys offered on a quarterly basis. This enhanced approach is in direct response to previous survey responses, and will provide IMRF with additional opportunities to gather information to improve our services.

Upon receipt of the emailed survey, all Authorized Agents and Web Assistants are encouraged to complete and return the survey to IMRF no later than Wednesday, July 19. Your participation and comments will help IMRF continue to provide the highest quality retirement services to our employers and members.
ThreeOnline Payment Portal to change in July
In an effort to help IMRF employers safeguard against malicious cyber-threats, the First Data Government Solutions online portal used by IMRF employers to remit payments will change on Friday, July 28.

Employers will access the portal via a new website address. Employers who reach the portal through Employer Access will be automatically redirected to the new website address; those who access the portal through bookmarks saved on their computers' browsers will need to update their bookmarks. All employers will need to create a new online user name and password.

IMRF will provide employers additional information and details in advance of the July launch.

All questions about this change may be directed to First Data Corporation at 1-800-332-4125.
FourJune Employer Reminder:
IMRF and Health Insurance Continuation
While IMRF does not offer a health insurance plan for its employers or members, an employer may be required to continue health insurance coverage for a retiring or disabled IMRF member, as regulated by federal or state legislation. Many employers may not be aware of a member's right to health insurance continuation.

Review the continuous coverage statutes, payment options, and coverage exemptions in the June Employer Reminder.
