Introducing GoShare Plus on CAT4
Supporting quality improvement and preventive health activities
Healthily and Pen CS have partnered to create GoShare Plus - a powerful new patient engagement tool to support quality improvement activities and preventative health campaigns.

How does GoShare Plus work on CAT4?

To help patients take control of their health, send them easy-to-view videos and fact sheets that motivate behaviour change.

Create a list of patients using CAT4 (based on local or national health promotion priorities).

Click on the GoShare Plus icon to send a content bundle relevant to the health topic matched to the list of patients via SMS.

Current available campaign bundles include:
  • Shingles vaccination
  • Cancer screening (bowel, breast and cervical)
  • Home medicines reviews
  • Health check reminders

Or, you can create your own content bundles for patient education, PIP QI activities, or preventative health campaigns.

Access to GoShare Plus

To activate GoShare Plus, please call Healthily on 03 9534 7222 or email goshare@healthily.com.au.

Asthma and COPD Alert: Caligem Health
"54 patients came into the practice after receiving the text"
Caligem Health shares their success using Pen CS' Recall CAT:

After receiving the Pen CS $100 Recall CAT Credit Voucher for Asthma and COPD during the bushfire smoke, Caligem Health used their Recall CAT credits for targeting the following:
  • Patients who hadn't had their spirometry test in the last year
  • Patients with no FOBT results recorded

940 text messages were sent to patients, and 54 patients came in to the practice after receiving the text (17.4%).

This credit also contributed to the practices' quality improvement activities, allowing them to recall patients who hadn't completed the tests.

To get Recall CAT, please contact support@pencs.com.au.

Pen CS working with Healthily and University of Melbourne to Increase Bowel Cancer Screening Participation
Pen CS is working with Healthily and University of Melbourne in a 'SMART-SCREEN' trail, focusing on bowel cancer prevention through increased screening via an SMS from GPs.

Using CAT4, the SMS including a video developed by Healthily, is sent from the GP to a patient.

A free bowel cancer test is sent by the Australian Government to every person over the age of 50, however only 41% of people complete it.

This trial is looking at how to overcome this through increasing at-home screening via the SMS.
