Summer 2019 Newsletter
Hello, from your friends at Generations! In May we released a handful of powerful new features and asked for your feedback. You responded with some very valuable suggestions. Thank you! Based on your ideas, we've rolled out numerous updates to make those newest features of Generations the best they can be. For more details about the changes we made this summer, scroll down through this email for a list.

Today we released another update for Generations. This update includes general performance maintenance and functionality improvements. Current customers can check the release notes in their Generations account for details.

Providers in Virginia now have the ability to bill electronically using the DMAS90 form built into Generations. We're regularly expanding state EVV functionality in Generations. Deadlines have been set at the national and state levels for EVV requirements, and we're well positioned to help agencies across the country meet them.

Now, let's talk trade shows. This fall, we'll be traveling to Tucson, AZ, for the HCAOA Annual Leadership Conference. After that, we'll wrap up our 2019 conference tour with a trip to Las Vegas. Look out, Private Duty National Conference! Please reach out if you plan to be at either show. We'd love to connect IRL (in real life).

Want another way to connect with us? Then follow us on our brand-new BLOG! Yes, you read that right. We're now bloggers! For the first time ever, read our thoughts in detail and get a behind-the-scenes look at the ways we're impacting homecare via the Generations blog.
And lastly, we're sending a friendly reminder that support and training for the Generations system is unlimited. We love hearing from you! Plus, we encourage all of our clients to schedule regular system reviews with one of Generations's customer success managers. Details are below.
You had a lot of great ideas.

Two highlights of the major update in May were the new canceled shift functionalities and the ability for caregivers to request available shifts. You had a lot of great feedback and suggestions for making these new features even more powerful. And we listened.  Below are a few examples of the changes we made to the canceled shift functionality.
  • App Notifications: the Generations app now has the capability to notify caregivers, as well as clients and client contacts, of cancelled shifts
  • Canceled Shift Report: reason and action fields have been added to cancelled shift report and report writer
  • Calendar Report: now includes a cancelled shift label where applicable
Do you have more ideas for us? By all means, please share them!
