ACF’s Equity in Action Initiative
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has a clear goal to build a more just and equitable nation with systems that treat everyone with fairness. Fairness requires that we meet our communities where they are and not where we want them to be. We must level the playing field, and we know that we cannot do this critical work without you. If you, or those you work with, know of process improvements, ACF is gathering that feedback via email. Cool Idea
JCY-Westchester Community Partners (JCY-WCP) eTutoring Program

Each week, we'll be highlighting a program from our resource, Staying Connected While Staying Apart: Intergenerational Programs and the COVID-19 Pandemic. Next up is JCY-Westchester Community Partners (JCY-WCP) eTutoring Program.

JCY-Westchester Community Partners (JCY-WCP) eTutoring Program in Westchester, NY, pairs students selected by their teachers and school administrators with members of their corps of volunteers. eTutors work with individual students one time per week for one hour over Zoom video using JCY-WCP Zoom lines. All calls are monitored by Program Coordinators for quality and security. Optimally, tutors and students both have internet access and a computer, but tablets or phones are also used. Learn more.

Got something cool you tried that was successful? Why not tweet your cool intergenerational ideas to #cooligideas. You can also post them to our Intergenerational Connections Facebook Group. We want to highlight innovative age-optimized programs and practices through our blog, social media and weekly e-newsletter! Share the inspiration.
