- The Eisner Foundation's presentation of the Eisner Prize for Intergenerational Excellence.

Sen. Tammy Baldwin to Receive Generations United's 2017 Jack Ossofsky Lifetime Achievement Award We're thrilled to announce that Senator Tammy Baldwin has been named as the recipient of Generations United's Jack Ossofsky Award for Lifetime Achievement in Support of Children, Youth and Older Adults for 2017. The award is a lasting tribute to Jack Ossofsky, who was executive director of the National Council on Aging, and one of the co-founders and early leaders of Generations United. Senator Baldwin, an honorary co-chair of Generations United's National Center on Grandfamilies Council, has worked tirelessly to promote policies that bring all generations together, particularly her work to raise the visibility of grandparents raising grandchildren. Senator Baldwin will be receiving the award on June 16 at the 19th Global Intergenerational Conference, Generations Remixed, taking place in Milwaukee, WI. Learn more about the conference. |

Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) is offering grants of $3,000-$6,000 for campuses to gather students and educators from multiple campuses for training and networking on creating or enhancing dialogue across diverse communities to heal cultural divides. Deadline: April 26, 2017. Learn more
The Encore Prize: Generation to Generation Challenge.

will award $100,000 in cash prizes, coaching and a year of ongoing support to help
innovators of any age come up with new ways to bring the talents of older adults to benefit youth.

Funding Opportunity for Early Career Researchers to Increase Health & Equity. New Connections, a national project of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is a career development program for early career researchers. The program offers funding to investigators from "historically disadvantaged backgrounds" - challenges individuals may have faced because of their race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, physical, learning or other disability, or because they are first-generation college graduates. Deadline: May 16, 2017. Learn more
Grants for the Benefit of Homeless Individuals. SAMHSA is seeking applications for up to $47.5 million in grants to help youth and families experiencing homelessness. SAMHSA expects to fund up to 24 grantees for up to $400,000 per year for up to five years. Deadline: April 25, 2017.
