Family portraits are important. They are a way of keeping family history. Remember what people looked liked, their favorite style, maybe your daughter is like mine and went through a pink only faze, or your son would only wear orange.
These thoughts and feelings that come with these passing times of our families at various stages is important. Because as they grow and change they won't always want to wear pink or orange, it will be something else. But if you had a family portrait taken you will have captured that moment and feeling for ever. (Stay tuned to
for some of my family history!) Things change, children grow up, rather too quickly if you ask me. Taking a family portrait is only a small moment in time.
Before your children are asking for the keys to the car, and even if they are, take a moment to capture your family as they are. Before your children are off to college and suddenly all grown up and out the door.
And most important remember: *Your children love you for you! They don't see that ten pounds you want to loose, they see you. *Your children won't be little for ever. *Now is better than too late.
