Unity's World Day of Prayer 2022
We invite you to hold the theme, affirmation and prayer in contemplation as we experience a 24 hour period of prayer, Sept 7-8, 2022.
Theme "Holding the High Watch"
Affirmation I pray with an elevated mind and open heart
Guiding Prayer- World Day of Prayer 2022
With an inward and upward gaze, I rise from human concerns so that I might revel in the indwelling Spirit. I take my place in the seat of prayer, and the radiance of divine light. I hold the high watch for all people, knowing the truth of oneness and wholeness.
I am one with divine love that lifts the sorrowful and suffering. I am one with divine life by which they heal. I am one with divine wisdom that beams like a lighthouse, shining light on their path ahead.
My eyes of faith have a view of the horizon up here on the mountaintop of awareness. I wait, watchfully. I view the fulfilment of dreams and intentions, for me and for all those with whom I pray, without obstruction and in a state of expectancy. My vision is far reaching as I hold the high watch. I say, "Amen, let it be. And so it is."

All are invited to participate in Unity’s Annual Day of Prayer. Unity Myrtle Beach will host a day of quiet contemplation, meditation and prayer. You are invited to visit the Unity land (6173 Salem Rd., Myrtle Beach) anytime between 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Experience the Labyrinth in the Pavilion, walk the land in prayer or sit in quiet consciousness as you are so moved. Bring or create your prayer list that will be sent to Silent Unity.
Please bring socks to wear as you walk the labyrinth. If you forget, socks will be provided.
Bring your lunch and enjoy eating in the quietude. Also enjoy contemplatively walking the land, meditating on the decks, gazebo, front porch. Bring your prayer list or write it out while in the Pavilion. All prayer lists will be held sacredly with prayer energy by the UMB prayer team, and then sent to Silent Unity.

"Art as a Spiritual Practice"
An open creative art experience that unlocks creativity. No art skills needed. Exploration, art fun, mindfulness, meditation. Supplies included. Bring apron, water and YOU. Class size limited.
Class begins at 11 am and clean up begins at 1pm.
Facilitator: Lesta Sue Hardee, self-taught artist, author and adventurer who has taught art to adults and children in the public and private school syatem, libraries, studios, and galleries for over 30 years.

Help4Kids: School year begins August 15, 2021, for all Horry County Schools. Please try to bring items in by Friday, August 13 for distribution
Ø The kids have several needs
· School Book Bags filled with supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, copy paper, subject dividers etc. and all items you used when you attended school. (Note: If possible, bring to Salem Road and someone will bring to Help4Kids OR drop them directly at Help4Kids at the Forestbrook location). This collection is for grades kindergarten thru 12th grade. (School starts 8/15)
· Socks, sneakers (various sizes)
· New clothes only please
· Hygiene products
· The usual food stuffs, that have been bought in the past
