The time has come once again for us to gather as one body, one family, united in our calling to advance God's Kingdom throughout Georgia and beyond. I write to you today with a spirit of anticipation and excitement as we prepare for our 2025 Georgia District Assembly & Conventions in Dublin, GA on May 27-29.
This annual gathering is more than just meetings and reports—it is a sacred time for us to be renewed in our vision, strengthened in our fellowship, and inspired for the work ahead. As leaders, we know that vision isn't merely caught—it's cultivated through moments like these where we stand together, pray together, and dream together.
Our NMI Convention on Wednesday morning will feature Carlos and Robin Radi, our global missionaries serving faithfully in Argentina. Their testimony will remind us that our ministry extends far beyond our local congregations to the very ends of the earth. Consider sending a deputation offering for the Radis ahead of time to Eunice Hood or bringing it with you to the Convention.
Wednesday afternoon brings our NDI Convention led by Dr. Steven Callis, followed by our District Assembly Opening with worship and celebration. Thursday will include our main Assembly sessions with General Superintendent Dr. T Scott Daniels, culminating in our Ordination Service—a powerful reminder of our calling and commitment to ministry.
I especially encourage all Elders to participate in the choir during the Ordination Service. What a powerful witness to our ordinands to see the unified body of elders worshiping together as we welcome them into this sacred office!
Please, let us not view this gathering as merely another obligation on our calendars. Instead, let us approach it as a divine appointment—a time to refocus our vision, renew our passion, and recommit ourselves to the work God has called us to do in Georgia and beyond.
I look forward to seeing each of you in Dublin as we come together to celebrate what God has done and cast vision for what He will do through us in the coming year.
With anticipation and prayer,
Pastor Steve
