Thank You, Georgia!

Julie and I want to THANK YOU for your love, prayers, friendship, and partnership in the gospel of Jesus Christ! These last six years of serving with you in Georgia have been an amazing gift of grace to us.

As we transition to Kansas City, please know we will always cherish our time with you in Georgia. We know that God has more great days ahead for the Georgia District!

It was fun advancing the Kingdom of God with you.

You are loved and appreciated!

Remembering Our Friend, Dr. Fred Huff

The Georgia District joins thousands of others in celebrating the abundant life and faithful ministry of Dr. Fred Huff.

Fred laid down his earthly body on October 10, 2024, after several significant health battles, but he leaves behind a wonderful legacy of Christlike love and leadership. At the time of his death, Fred was serving as Georgia District Co-Director of New Church Development. Prior to that, Fred served as youth pastor, missionary/pastor in New Zealand and Africa, an administrator at Trevecca Nazarene University, District Superintendent of Georgia and New Mexico, and Africa Regional Director. We thank God for Fred Huff!

Thanks for all your prayers and expressions of kindness for Fred’s family. Dinah continues to serve as Georgia District Administrative Assistant.

Storm Relief Update & Thanks…

Fall 2024 will go down in history as one of the most destructive hurricane seasons on record. The Southeast USA, including many areas in Georgia, are still recovering from extensive damage and power outages. Areas hit especially hard in Georgia included South Central (Valdosta and surrounding areas), Southeast (Waycross. Alma, and surrounding areas), Middle Georgia (Dublin, Adrian, and surrounding areas), and East (Augusta and surrounding areas). Our love and prayers also go out to our SE neighbors in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and East Tennessee who also suffered significant storm damage from Helene and Milton.

THANK YOU to all the individuals, groups, and churches who have sent storm relief teams, and to all those who have sent money, supplies, crisis care kits, and prayers!

Adrian Camp and Conference Center had over 60 trees down, significant building and roof damage, and power outages for almost two weeks. Even so, with the support of our Nazarene family and friends, Jeff Croft and the Adrian Camp team will be ready to host our District Ladies Retreat in November. Praise the Lord!

You can donate to the ongoing recovery and restoration efforts by sending a team to the affected areas, or….
