Baseball & Supply Chain - April 18 - SunTrust Park  

Join APICS Atlanta, CSCMP, and the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance for an evening of networking, best practices & baseball. A panel discussion from 6 - 7pm on "Digitization of Small & Mid-Sized Businesses" will explore best practices without busting your budget.  At 7 pm we will enjoy the Atlanta Braves as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies.

Seasons 4 Plant Tour - April 19 - Douglasville
Their 200,000 sq. ft. plant manufacturers and designs custom HVAC systems for industrial applications. Each unit is built to meet specific requirements, including humidity and temperature control, zone management, and other specialized environmental needs. Attendees will see the entire manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, wiring, piping, assembly and testing process.
KaMin Plant & Quarry Tour - April 24 - Wrens (Morning Tour & Lunch)
This plant extracts and processes the highest quality kaolin in Georgia. The special qualities of this clay lead to the process of products that are instrumental in the paper industry. Attendees will see the manufacturing processes inside the plant and have a tour of the quarry where the kaolin is mined. (Join us in the afternoon for the Venator Tour in Augusta just 30 minutes away- separate registration required)
Venator Plant Tour - April 24 - Augusta (Afternoon Tour)
This facility is a leading global producer of color pigments used in well-known paint, construction, and cosmetics products. See the entire process of producing color pigments from the break down of scrap metal to extract the iron oxide to the fascinating chemical and lab processes involved to produce red, yellow and brown color pigments (Join us in the morning for the KaMin Tour in Wrens just 30 minutes away -- separate registration required)

Cintas Plant Tour - April 27 - Lawrenceville
Cintas is the leading supplier of work apparel and facilities services such as entrance mats and cleaning services. Their fully automated industrial laundering facility will show the daily unloading and automated intake of uniforms, weight controlled wash intake, wash alley and dryers, 8 point inspections stations, steam tunnels, finishing & repair process, bagging and loading and their $3 million stockroom.
