Celebrate National County Government Month
National County Government Month, held each April, is an annual celebration of county government. Since 1991, the National Association of Counties (NACo) has encouraged counties to actively promote the services and programs they offer.

This year, NACo is encouraging counties to show how their communities THRIVE through Technology, Health, Readiness, Infrastructure, Vulnerable Communities and Economic Opportunities. Counties THRIVE is the presidential initiative of NACo President Larry Johnson, a DeKalb County Commissioner.
