Cobb County continued its tradition of having county government leaders meet with its state legislative delegation at a December breakfast. The event allows leaders to get together in the same room, recognize those transitioning out and welcome those recently elected to represent the county. County Commmissioners and elected leaders bring up potential or recent legislation that impacts their operations and make requests for the coming legislative session. Topics this year included transportation, cityhood efforts, home role, evictions and mental health.

ACCG Celebrates Contributions

of Quint Robinson

ACCG wishes a fond farewell to Director of Operations and Administration Quint Robinson, who is stepping away to pursue other opportunities at the end of the year. Robinson was recognized by his co-workers as being a positive force in the office, one who could always find a way to get things done and was a mentor to many. The ACCG team wishes Robinson and his family the very best as they explore new adventures in 2023 and beyond! Pictured from left to right: Quint Robinson, Jeff Christie and Ben Pittarelli.

Congratulations to former ACCG staff members Brad Vaughan and Ines Owens for being named to serve on the staff of incoming Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones. Vaughan will serve as Legislative Director and Counsel and Owens will serve as Policy and Communications Director.
