On Thursday, Governor Brian Kemp announced the opening of four new mass vaccination sites that will be located in Bibb, Dougherty, Fulton and Habersham counties. Together, these sites are expected to administer at least 22,000 vaccinations weekly and will ramp up as the state receives more supply. Earlier in the week, Governor Kemp toured the Fulton County site with Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts (pictured next to Governor Kemp) and other Fulton County officials.

Tift County Commissioner (also ACCG 2nd Vice President) Melissa Hughes continued her annual Sock It to 'Em with Love Sock Drive to collect donations for children in the local area. Individuals and companies, such as Orgill (representatives pictured with Commissioner Hughes), donate socks to help support this charitable cause.

Congratulations to Paulding County Laboratory Analyst Eric Eberly, who was recently named the New Trainer of the Year by Georgia Adopt-A-Stream. To learn more about the Paulding County Adopt-A-Stream program, which monitors waterways, conducts stream clean-ups and more, click here.

Spalding County worked with Bliss Products and Play & Park Structures to design an agility course at Volunteer Park. For the month of February, the county is encouraging people to give the course a try and post their efforts on social media with the hashtag #inSpalding or #HealthyMeSpalding or email it to rconort@spaldingcounty.com.
