Bryan County Chairman Carter Infinger and other local leaders spent a day at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield this week getting to know the command staff and learning more about their operations. The tour included a visit to the Warriors Walk, where a tree has been planted to honor the 469 fallen soldiers from Fort Stewart.

Earlier in the week, Governor Brian Kemp announced the authorization to purchase a 2,284-acre economic development site in partnership between the State of Georgia and the Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Corridor Joint Development Authority. The purchase of the Bryan County Mega-Site is the largest in state history.
