Butts and Clayton County Dive Teams Join Forces for Training
The Butts County Public Safety Dive Team joined the Clayton County Police Department Dive Team for a week of dive training. The team members practiced water rescue situations as well as underwater recovery of evidence.  
Cobb County Sheriff's Office Recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month 
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Cobb County Sheriff's Office Command Staff has added pink dress uniforms to help increase awareness of the importance of breast cancer screenings in their community.
Oconee County Recognizes National 4-H Week
The Oconee County Board of Commissioners presented a proclamation in honor of National 4-H Week to the Oconee County 4-H this week. The Board also recognized the students for their accomplishments in the program.
Habersham County Emergency Services Uses Proceeds from T-Shirt Sales to Assist those in Need
Using funds from the Habersham County 9/11 memorial t-shirt sales, Habersham County Emergency Services constructed a ramp at the home of an elderly couple. This couple uses the Community Paramedicine Program that was established in 2017. The primary role of the Paramedicine Program is to provide home visits to the underserved who have chronic illness. Many participants do not have transportation or cannot afford transportation and often call an ambulance to transport them to the emergency room for mostly non-emergency situations.

About Gabriel: Gabriel joined the ACCG team in September. He is a proud HBCU (Historically Black College and University) and Georgia Tech graduate who was born and raised in DeKalb County, Georgia. Some of Gabriel's hobbies are reading and basketball. His family includes his wonderful parents, a brother and sister, along with his paternal grandparents who were born and raised in South Georgia.
