Shop Online for Gertrude Hawk Chocolates or See’s Candies

Holiday Fundraiser to Support No Burn Broome Efforts

The holidays are upon us, and here are some easy, safe ways to shop for yummy chocolates while supporting No Burn Broome activities to continue the fight against the incinerator and other polluting industries.

The candies are ideal as Christmas Gifts for family and friends as well as office gifts for your peers and/or employees.

***Please feel free to forward this email your family and friends which in turn assists us in our efforts to maintain a Healthy Environment = Healthy Life for Endicott. ***

Why is No Burn Broome fundraising?

The candy fundraising will allow us some cash-in-hand to react to situations as they arise.

We have just begun a dedicated GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/environmental-lawsuit) fundraiser to pay the legal costs for the Article 78 lawsuit (http://fluoridealert.org/wp-content/uploads/endicott.article78.nov13.2020.pdf) against the Village. Six Endicott residents have come forward to enable this lawsuit to proceed. If they prevail, the new recycling code, which allows incineration and/or other high-temperature processing, will become invalid. At that time, a new recycling code can be put in place that would include restrictions to protect residents.
