´╗┐It is "Fired Up February" here at Cabrillo College, and the Running Start program is in full swing!

What is Running Start?
Running Start is a college preparation program for Santa Cruz County seniors. By participating, you have an opportunity to earn an earlier priority registration date for Cabrillo College classes. As a Running Start student, you will also receive extra support and advice, helping you to achieve your academic and career goals.

This month, we are so excited to help all of our Running Start students complete the student Orientation and Placement & Planning steps with ease and confidence.

Honors Transfer Program Application - NOW OPEN!

Math PLUS can be taken in addition to any of our Learning Communities! 
Math PLUS is a 1-week intensive math review designed to help students prepare for their upcoming math courses.  Math PLUS is FREE, FUN, WE FEED YOU, and you review math in a stress-free way to get prepared for your class! ACE is a one-semester program with 12 units of classes in English 1A plus, Social Justice Issues, college success, and career planning. In just one semester we help students build on their strengths to successfully pass their courses and to gain skills and confidence as a college student.  Click here to watch the short ACE video
STARS is a two-semester program with different pathways for students that want to get an associates degree/certificate or transfer to a four-year university. Students take English 1A plus, Math, CG 51 and additional courses of their choice! 
Earn a certificate to start your career in Business Information in just  two semesters!  Develop expertise in Microsoft Office, business technology, and other high demand skills to be ready to work in any business office, while getting the added support of a learning cohort.  Watch the BIW video here 
Puente is for students looking to transfer to a four-year university. Students participate in the program for two semesters. They start with English 1A plus and CG51. Puente offers students support and guided mentorship towards their transfer goals.
