Thank you to all who attended our leadership development workshop last week led by Alyson Van Hooser. We enjoyed learning about today's top leadership skills and how to lead multigenerational teams. Huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, CFSB, our platinum sponsor, Swift & Staley, and our awesome host, Purpose Church, for making the event possible!

If you are interested in being a part of a group to read her book "Level Up" together, reach out to our staff. It would be a great way to further grow as a leader alongside other likeminded professionals in our community. We imagine this would take place during a coffee or lunch hour.

We have a few books left and would love for you to join us!

In case you didn't get out to Spring Open House this past weekend, today is a great day to SHOP LOCAL! Our stores have incredible merchandise for the perfect gift, Spring Break trip, your home and more!

Tomorrow, we get a Transportation Update at our March Business at LUNCH presented by Lake Chem Community Federal Credit Union. It should be a great event!

MURRAY WORKS FOUNDATION UPDATE

We kicked off Classroom to Career last week with Seniors from Murray Independent School District and Calloway County High School. Classroom to Career is the newest initiative of the Murray Works Foundation that focuses on connecting students with future employers. Through this program, students are given the opportunity to tour businesses and speak directly with employers about career pathways available in their organizations. Students learn about what careers are in demand in Calloway County and what skills and education they need to attain them.

Thhe students visited Murray-Calloway County Hospital for a tour and discussion about how many careers there are in the world of healthcare. Students also met with the Western Kentucky SHRM group where they learned about HR best practices, handshakes, eye contact, and conversation starters when talking to a potential employer. Students then participated in a job fair with multiple local businesses, many of which are looking to hire these students when they graduate.

Huge thank you to the following businesses for participating:
