Exciting summer updates plus ways to support CAN students today!
Summer Fun at CAN!
Summer is flying by, and we just wrapped up our 4th week of "Science in Color" campalready! This summer also featured some exciting sustainability updates and our annual Bryant Community Clean-up where neighbors filled 3 dumpsters to help keep the community clean. While we are enjoying summer, our Back to School Drive launched earlier this month to make sure all our students are prepared to go back to school at the end of August. Next up, we're diving into the last 2 weeks of camp which includes science fairs and our exciting field day. Check out our updates below!
Summer Camp Updates
So far, we have packed in...
8 field trips to places like The Creature Conservancy, Hands-on Museum, the pool & more!
4 visits from Kona Ice and lots of delicious meals and snacks
16 visits from Black Men Read and over 10 additional enrichment visits
experiments like magic milk, moldy bread/hand washing, DIY paint and so much more!
We want to thank everyone who had a hand in making this summer such a great one so far. From our volunteers, enrichment groups, and staff, to those who provided meals at camp, hosted our field trips, and donated to make this all happen - Thank you!
