CQI in the News
Learn More About the Co-Op

With more than 20 years of front-line experience in the energy management sector, CQI Associates takes a broad-based view about energy consumption for commercial clients. “Our work focuses on reducing rates by procuring energy at an efficient price; reducing consumption by implementing best practices; retrofitting existing equipment and buildings; designing new green buildings; and using alternative energy such as solar, fuel cells and battery back-up,” says Melissa Anderson, CQI managing principal. The 15-member firm has offices in Maryland, Illinois and Georgia and works with commercial clients nationwide.

The CQI team helps clients track monthly energy costs and examines how energy is used in the physical plant and by employees. Results become a baseline for measuring energy efficiency and usage moving forward. Energy-efficient strategies are a blend of technology, best practices and staff education.
