Brag-Worthy Basement

Basement with Norwich Stacked Stone columns

Chris and Kara are repeat FauxPanels customers who were ready to tackle their next makeover -- finishing the basement. They had already planned to create an accent wall using our panels, but they also needed something to cover three metal structural columns which were quite the eyesore. They were delighted to find that we offered columns in the same style and color as the panels for a perfect match.

"Needless to say the project, come out better than we even expected. The columns and panels were very easy to work with, cut and install.  I took my time and added the textured caulking in all of the joints, resulting in a completely seamless install."

"Our friends that have seen the completed project are also amazed at the quality of your product, and they all agree that it is virtually indistinguishable from real stone. Thank you for helping to make our project so spectacular!"

Lighting the Way

This light post built by J. Gomez for his front yard is a beautiful demonstration of the ease and versatility of our columns.

This product is awesome! All my neighbors stop to ask about where we got them. I installed a 4x4 then covered it with the Limestone base pedestal, two brick columns stacked on each other and capped it with the Limestone column cap. The material was super easy to work with allowing for the installation of an exterior electrical outlet in the column and a Dusk to Dawn photocell in the cap. I would highly recommend this product and company to my friends and family. Thank you for your high quality product and service.

Craftsman Style Porch Revival

Porch with Wellington Drystack column wraps

Mark and his wife wanted to revive the front porch of their Tennessee lake house with a craftsman-style cottage appearance. They achieved this look by adding Wellington Drystack column wraps and caps to the bottom of original wood posts with tapered white molding on the top.

The new columns are a marked improvement over the previous posts and pay perfect tribute to the American Craftsman style. Mark let us know that the finished project also inspired some other homeowners!

My neighbor and my sister were so impressed with what I'd done that they're placing orders at FauxPanels.com too, for use on their own homes.
Mailbox and Ashford Ledgestone column in Brown

The Postman Will Look Twice

This mailbox column made by JT of Lake Havasu City, AZ, surely makes the postman and any passerby look twice.

Although we offer ready-made mailbox posts, JT liked the style of the Ashford Ledgestone column. The column's polyurethane material was easy for him to cut with regular woodworking tools, making custom fitting the mailbox a simple task.

Very nice looking product! I used an Ashford column as a mailbox structure, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out. Have received numerous compliments on my mailbox. Very happy.

Stone or brick posts on a deck fence like this turns it from utilitarian to a real beauty. But the weight of real stone or brick would in most cases require added structural reinforcement of the deck.

The lightweight material of faux columns eliminates this costly, time-consuming step. Their hollowed center makes them easy to slip over existing supports, screw them in place and you're ready to relax!

Testimonial of the Month

We ordered the Norwich Colorado stacked stone columns to dress up our finished basement. They shipped sooner than expected and were very easy to install. When friends saw them, they thought for sure it was real stone and cost over $3,000. They were floored when I told them that it was faux stone and how much I paid.
