Community Threads
Join us on the third Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm at the Innovation Center for Community Threads!

Bring your current project and work along with other knitters, crocheters and other stitchers. All levels of stitchers are welcome. This is a community event. You do not have to be a member of the Innovation Center to participate. No registration required but this event needs a minimum of two attendees to run.

We Can Print That!
Do you need a banner, stickers, something large, or something 3D? We can print jobs for you. The cost is the cost of materials plus a processing fee, depending on the size of the job. Reach out to our Technical Director, Emily Case (emily@innovationcentersaratoga.org) for more information.

Volunteer Openings
We are specifically looking for: Fundraising/Events committee members, Front Desk attendants, and Woodshop helpers. Once trained, front desk volunteers can be put on a regular schedule or on an as-needed basis -- your choice. Woodshop volunteers are needed a couple of times per month to help with clean up, tune up, and general woodshop maintenance.

MINGDA 600-D Printer
Equipment Spotlight
Thanks to Joe Fairley at Ascent Fabrication and Shenzhen Mingda Technology, Co., Ltd, we have a MINGDA 600-D in our space now. The print volume is 600m x 600mm x 600mm (or about 23.5" cubed). This gives us the ability to 3D print much larger items. We are excited for the possibilities and already have some plans for things we want to 3D print. Access to this printer is included with your membership to The Innovation Center at Saratoga. We can also help with one-time prints of items for you.

Reservations & Orientations
Reserve Equipment
Free, pre-registered equipment orientations (30–60 minutes) are required before using Innovation Center equipment and are open to members and non-members. Visit our website to review guidelines and reserve your spot—sessions without registrations will be canceled.

Class Proposals
There is still room on our class schedule!
Do you have a skill to teach or is there a skill you would like to learn? Our Winter Class schedule is in full swing. Classes are filling and we are looking for additional classes to add to our calendar. If you have experience in technology, 3D printing, textiles or quilting, woodworking, computer skills, or classes that combine art and technology, we’d love to hear from you.
We are always looking for new class ideas. If there is something you would like to learn -- propose that as a class as well. We'll try to find an instructor.

We are thrilled to announce a challenge grant worth up to $500,000! This is a one-to-one match from a donor who prefers to remain anonymous. We can accept donations in many forms, including credit cards, stock, ACH transfers, and more.

We have set up a Wish List at Amazon.com. Items on this list are things that would be nice to have, but we do not yet have the budgeted funds to purchase.

It takes a lot of work to keep this space running. We are looking for volunteers who want to help fundraise, market, and support the facility.
