As the summer heat sets in and development and building work take a break, we hope you’ll find time to unwind, whether poolside, by the beach or in the spa.

With rising temperatures, our focus shifts to enhancing outdoor living spaces. This month, we're excited to present exquisite bathing designs and materials that work for indoor and outdoor luxury to cool down.

This month's Newsletter also marks one year since we started our first edition🥂

To celebrate, we have showcased some of the designers we represent, to give you inspiration during the holidays.

Concrete and steel by Agape Bathrooms

Introducing the In-Out bathtub collection from Agape.

This white bathtub was designed by the famous designer, Patricia Urquiola for Agape Bathrooms.

Crafted from durable stainless steel, this bathtub is ideal for outdoor use and comes in stunning all-white or with an elegant dark grey or light grey exterior.

Enhance the design by pairing it with the matching washbasin.

The innovative use of concrete lends itself to luxurious indoor and outdoor designs.

The In-Out Cemento bathtub is crafted from Cementoskin® and available in 5 colours.

Whether elegantly freestanding or seamlessly integrated into a countertop, the Bjhon washbasin is available in stone, or three different types of marble by request.

Patricia Urquiola has also collaborated with Mutina and Bisazza.

We have the Mater Collection of ceramics she designed in-house if you’d like a closer look to browse the rest of Mutina's vast collection.

Let your designs pop and creativity flow with the numerous possibilities of designing with Bisazza tiles.

Artistic Direction

We had the pleasure of meeting Bisazza's newly appointed CEO, Daniel Talens and hearing about his new plans when he recently visited Megabox.

Daniel comes from Maison Hermès and has worked on projects with the iconic brand Alessi.

His direction for Bisazza will be to continue collaborating with more artists and rising stars in the design world with also a look to furniture. We'll be watching!

If you’re travelling to Italy this summer, pop in and see this stunning pool at the luxury hotel, Le Sirenuse in Positano.

Designed by Swiss-born, New York based artist, Nicolas Party. He selected from the Bisazza palette, twenty-seven shades of glass tiles, from turquoise to cobalt blue to water green with a 24-carat gold sun in the deeper end of the pool.

You could also visit L'Albereta Relais & Chateaux to see this pool transformed into a stunning work of art with 600,000 glass mosaic reproducing the Ortensia motif.

Designed by Fornasetti with the captivating face of his muse, Lina Cavalieri emerging among shades of pink and blue petals.

Pucci

Pucci is the designer behind this Bisazza panel in our showroom.

Reminiscent of his flowing dress designs, another of the many collaborating artists who have worked with Bisazza.

Perfect for a poolside or spa wall.

Creating Spa Areas

We are currently designing Indoor Spas for our clients and have several exciting projects.

Inspired by Bisazza designs but it’s out of your client's budget? No problem.

We have many other options of different brands of stunning Italian mosaic tiles to choose from.

Alternatively, for this natural look, we have a wide selection of ceramics to choose from to integrate into your spa and hammam designs.

Cristalplant® by Antonio Lupi

This minimalist bathtub by Antonio Lupi is perfect for poolside designs, spas and luxury bathrooms.

We love the continuous variation in height of the edge of the Dune2 model designed by Mario Ferrarini.

Made with Cristalplant® known for its beauty similar to natural stone with a soft touch effect.

Pininfarina Awarded The American Prize for Design

To conclude this edition, as our final bow to the designers we represent, Paolo Pininfarina has been awarded The American Prize for Design for 2024 by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies in conjunction with Good Design® 2024.

America's highest design award will be presented posthumously at 'The City and The World' Athens Symposium in September.

Pininfarina not only designed some of the most beautiful cars in the world, his portfolio also included two kitchen models, the Vision and Ola for Snaidero kitchens.

Pop into our showroom to see both these models which we are proud to exhibit as part of the work that won this prestigious award.

Interesting Fact: Paulo Pininfarina also designed the 2006 Winter Olympics Torch.
