Frosh Day of Service

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

This year, the 12th annual Frosh Day of Service is on Wednesday, October 15. This is a special day when the entire freshman class engages in the Carondelet mission of “serving our dear neighbor.” Our Carondelet students are known for their generous service to the wider community. On this day, we will be sending our students out to volunteer in the local community. Please note that this is an integral part of our curriculum and is not an optional activity for any student. We have planned for and expect full participation of all 9th-grade students on this very important day.

On Wednesday, October 1, all freshmen students must attend the mandatory X-block meeting in the Garaventa to learn more about this event. We will begin at 1:40 PM.

Soon, parents and guardians will receive their student’s permission slip via Adobe Acrobat Sign from this email address: adobesign@adobesign.com. The email will have a subject line that includes “Signature requested on….”

This document, sent via Adobe, will contain the permission slip and service site waiver (if the site requires it). The forms are due on Friday, October 3. It is imperative that this is returned by October 3, as we must provide the required information to the site in advance of the day of service
