Interior Design and Feng Shui to improve the flow of positive energy
in your home or workplace, and better support you and your family.
"What you have in your home creates your story.
I want you to surround yourself with what you love-
to be able to express yourself and live in comfort."

Greetings!

Have you been thinking of ways to cozy up your space as we head into cooler weather? I sure have. As I’ve settled into my new home, I realized how much more relaxed I feel here. Moving from a high-rise, I feel grounded now. I can see the leaves on the grassy lawn!

A good way to replicate this feeling in your home is to bring nature indoors. Try adding shells, rocks, crystals, and real or faux flowers and plants. I have worked with the same floral designer for over 20 years and she does a beautiful job creating silk floral designs—they look real. Avoi d any dried flowers as they will not create a peaceful energy in your home. Animals are also a great option for giving your space a nice energy—just look how happy my cat, Mario Luigi, is hanging out in his favorite bowl.

Let me help bring a grounding feeling to your space— contact me for a design consultation.

Lastly, d o you own an apartment building? Check out my article   Positive First Impressions   (page 28) for tips on refreshing common areas, like party rooms, hallways, party spaces, etc. I love working on apartments and condos; I have lots of experience working on multi-unit homes.   Contact me   for more information.

Warmest Regards,
Julie Ann

Featured Art Gallery Artist: Peter Neumann
Photographer Peter Neumann knows a thing or two about new beginnings. After majoring in Literature at Northeastern University in Boston, his photography career has been entwined with a variety of gigs: photojournalist, guitar player and composer, ad agency and magazine photographer, and kitchen designer to name a few. He grew up in an art-centric household—his dad, an oil painter, took him to museums instead of the ballpark. His dad gave him a camera when he went off to college but it wasn’t until much later, after the camera was stolen, that he found his interest in photography. He even used his bathtub as a darkroom.
