What is a Zoning Code Update?
The City’s Zoning Code consists of a set of codes that regulate development standards and what type of activities can and cannot take place on properties in specific areas or zones throughout the city. These codes help establish a safe, cohesive and active city with a mixture of uses that support a full-service community for residents, businesses and visitors. The City periodically updates the Zoning Code to address changes in population, community needs, consumer trends and more.
