#GETLINK'D 2021

MRHA Conference Goes Virtual Due to Soaring COVID-19 Cases

webinar14.jpeg

Attendees, Vendors, and Speakers, due to the increasing cases of COVID and its various variants, we have made the difficult decision to pivot the Missouri Annual Rural Health Conference to a virtual format. My priority is the safety and well-being of everyone participating in the conference. Though I was so looking forward to seeing everyone in person, we will assure there is time set aside for networking, even in the virtual format. The MRHA team will be following up with links to meetings and the conference sessions.

Speakers, we are still moving forward with your presentation during the selected time frame, virtually. We will follow up with links to meetings and the conference sessions. I will also follow up to make sure you are comfortable with the Zoom format.

Vendors and Sponsors, we appreciate your partnership and want to make sure this is a smooth transition for you as well, so we have developed a few options for you to be able to continue to participate.

Option 1: Feel free to get a full refund on the conference. But feel free to register as a participant!

Option 2: Get a refund on all but $200, and moderate a session with a two-minute talk about your product or company before the speaker. You will be responsible for reading speaker bios and keeping the session on time. Sponsorship packages will get the first pick on sessions.

Option 3: Give a five-minute talk on your product or company during one of the breaks. Sponsorship packages will get first pick on time.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. As a health-related association, our priority is safety and public health as positive COVID-19 cases continue to increase at alarming rates.

Hotel Arrangements:

Old Kinderhook has been a wonderful partner to work with and has allowed us to offer those of you who planned to arrive early or stay later that week for personal use to keep those rooms at the conference block rate. If you want to do so, please make arrangements with the hotel so they know not to cancel your room. If the hotel doesn't hear directly from you the room will automatically be canceled in the next week. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

We hope to see you in person at the 2022 Rural Health Conference. It will remain at Old Kinderhook.

Sincerely,

Melissa VanDyne
