Get Out and About in September 2026

It’s Pride Month in Charlottesville! The big day happens on Saturday, September 26 from 12:30-7:00pm at Ting Pavilion... and big it will be. With over a dozen entertainers and bands, more than 100 vendors, and thousands of expected attendees, we'll have a little bit of everything for everyone.

As always, Out and About is in the thick of it, including hosting the Out and About Lounge, producing the official dance party of the weekend, and more. We need a few hands to make sure things run smoothly and everyone has a great time - more info below.

Get ready for the inaugural Cville Pride 5K! Whether you're a seasoned runner, prefer a leisurely walk, or a fabulous sashay, everyone is welcome to participate. Don your gayest apparel for a morning of movement, joy, and community spirit. Together, we'll stride forward with pride.

It's the very best way to get in a few extra steps and start your Pride day off on the right foot!

The Out and About Lounge is your home base at Cville Pride, with free cold water, snacks, swag, HIV test kits, health supplies, and more! Plus, we’ve got the best seating around to catch the shows, grab a bite with friends, or meet someone new. So don’t just pass by... come hang out with us!

The Rainbow Disco

The Rainbow Disco is the official dance party of Cville Pride 2025 and was the runner-up for Best Party of Cville last year... soon you'll see why!

It's a night packed with all the dancing, pride, drink specials, and fun you can imagine, all set to a soundtrack of disco and dance hits spun by our guest DJ: DJ Kaos! There truly is no other party like it.

Wear your best disco outfit, pride ensemble, or favorite color of the rainbow and close out Pride in style. This 21+ party has sold out four years in a row, so get your tickets now - once they're gone, they're gone! Proceeds benefit Out and About's efforts to keep pride happening all year long.

After a long, loud, full weekend of Cville Pride, there's no better way to close out the festivities than with a quiet, low-key, relaxing cup of Joe and bite of a freshly baked treat.

This is our monthly gathering, but something tells us this time will be even more special than usual. As always, our friends at MarieBette will close down the cafe area for a special, intimate time together.
