Remote Area Medical Clinic

VBCF staff and volunteers educated over 300 people at the Remote Area Medical Clinic in Wise, VA from July 20-21. Hosting the “Becky’s Place” tent, in honor of a former Board member and volunteer extraordinaire who spearheaded the program before breast cancer took her too early, VBCF offered educational classes on different cancer topics and nutrition to people who don’t have access to regular medical care. A special thank you to Governor Ralph Northam who visited our tent!
