Spring Break is just around the corner and with that comes planning, lots of it! Whether you are planning on visiting family, going to relax at the beach, or enjoying a staycation in Lampasas, the week kids get off from school requires some forethought. To help with the question of, "so what do you want to do today?", we have put together some programs that kids can enjoy. They are "Spring Break Fun" programs that will help keep the kids occupied for a couple of hours.

On Monday the 14th we are going to have Lego Free Play from 1 to 4pm in the Foundation Room. They can build and re-build to their hearts' content. They're only limited by their own imaginations!

Then on Tuesday the 15th, we will have DIY Crafts from 2 to 4pm. We have so many supplies from years of programs, and we will lay them out for the kids to get creative with.

Lastly, Thursday the 17th is going to be Movie Day. We'll be showing Disney's Soul! The movie is rated PG and is 1 hour and 40 minutes long.

We welcome Ms. Nancy back at the How Pinteresting! podium with a fun and practical clipboard DIY! Nancy will be leading the class on how to make a customized clipboard using an assortment of scrapbooking paper and Mod Podge. Sign up by March 7th. The Cornelia Key Book Club will be discussing Keith O'Brien's Fly Girls on Wednesday at 11am. All are welcome to attend!

Daylight Saving Time begins on March 13th this year, and to help with losing an hour of sleep, Ms. Sami is going to have a story time about bedtimes and dreaming. After reading I'll Meet You in Your Dreams, we will learn how to wind down with some bedtime yoga. The story time begins at 10:30am on Thursday (yes, Thursday).

Mar. 26 - 42 Club, on Saturday at 10am

Mar. 30 - "Barnyard Fun" Story Time with Ms. Tania on Wednesday at 10:30am

Lampasas Public Library is now in the streaming game! A library card will give you access to Access Video on Demand FOR FREE. Offering both Adult and Children options, Access Video is a streaming platform that is accessed from our catalog with little more than a click of the hyperlink and entering your library card number (including the P). Don't remember your number? No problem! Reach out to the library staff and we will happily supply you with your number. You can find videos from HBO, BBC, and PBS Kids amongst many other channels.
