Market News
Whether it's Mother Earth or Mother's Day inspiring your shopping this week, honor them both by buying local, sustainable ingredients from our wonderful farmers and vendors at the Nyack Farmers Market .

Bluefield Farm will be returning to the market this week with gorgeous flower bouquets, herbs, and seedlings. Many gardeners use Mother's Day to mark the end of the frost point for our region, so it's the perfect time to plant your summer garden. Orchards of Conklin also has a great variety of flower, herbs, and vegetable seedlings for sale at the market.

Not sure how you'll pull off breakfast in bed or a special brunch for mom? Make it easy by serving a take-and-bake quiche from Meredith's Country Bakery , along with Bien Cuit Bakery croissants from Satori Inc. topped with specialty jam from Coyote Kitchen , and accompanied by tea from Teagevity or coffee from Beanluv . And don't forget a sweet treat like crumb cake from Deliciously Alicia's or a pie from Conklin Orchards !
Please help us in supporting the  Center for Safety and Change  by stopping by the Bill Batson Arts booth to purchase the best Mother's Day gift ever--a  Beauty Bag  illustrated by Nyack artist  Marisol Diaz , and curated with local products by  Skypunch Creative .

This amazing gift set is $40, in honor of the Center's 40th anniversary, and features a make-up bag designed by Nyack artist  Marisol Diaz  (@amarettogirl) and products from three local companies: Jasmine Petite Hand Cream from  Soap and Paper Factory , Splendid Lip Lacquer from  Lucky Chick  and Mini Massage Balm from  Mata Balm

Proceeds will benefit the  Center for Safety and Change , whose mission is to develop strategies to end gender-based violence and provide shelter and supportive services that empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other crimes.

Sponsors  Blue Rock School , Green Mountain Energy and  Sunrun  will also be joining us at the market this week, along with Naturalist Educators from  InSTEAD , and the folks behind the  Nyack Basics Campaign .

This Thursday, Mother Nature is sending us cloudy, mild weather for browsing around the Main Street Parking Lot from 8am to 2pm . Hope to see you there!

The young prince Hal has had his last fling with his wild bunch of ruffians including Falstaff. His father is ill and dying and it is time for the young prince to step up and take his place as king. One last rebellion to be quenched and then hopefully peace will reign again under one of England’s most famous kings - Henry V.
