Uniforms
We’re excited to share that SJND has acquired an Adidas sponsorship, which is outfitting all varsity teams with new uniforms this year! We are also instituting a streamlined uniform distribution and collection process.
Family Sports Meeting
After team rosters are announced in mid-August, we will hold the Fall Family Sports Meeting on Thursday, August 21, 6-8 PM. This event is an opportunity for families to meet the coaches and to learn about expectations and schedules for individual teams as well as provide information about the SJND Athletics program overall.
Volunteerism
As we continue to strengthen the culture of SJND Athletics, this year a renewed sense of community and volunteerism will be a key part of every student-athlete’s and family’s experience. We are placing a new and greater emphasis on students supporting fellow students, vesting them with greater responsibility and also trust. At the same time, we continue to recognize and value the importance of family participation. Whether you’re helping at events, supporting team logistics, or contributing your talents behind the scenes—your support matters. We will share details about our new vision and approach during the Family Sports Meeting.
Student Leadership Opportunities
This year, we are relaunching our year-round Student Athletic Leadership Team (SALT) Program for students interested in contributing beyond the field or court. These roles include:
- Team Manager (a newly defined and elevated leadership role that requires students to apply)
- Event & Game Day Staff
- Sports Journalism & Social Media Staff
- Spirit Ambassadors
- and many more…
Watch for details in early August and learn how to get involved. We want our student-athletes leading in every corner of our program.
Thank you for being such an important part of what makes SJND Athletics a community that inspires excellence, leadership, and heart. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me personally at the email address below.
Enjoy the rest of your summer—we can’t wait to see you all in August!
With Gratitude,
Ms. Ashlee Robinson
