Get Ready for Summer Reading!


Sign up for summer reading is beginning soon! Starting June 1 patrons of all ages can start logging their reading and earning prizes. We will once again be using Beanstack for summer reading, but also have paper logs available if you prefer to log reading that way.

Party in the Park
All Ages • Thu, June 3
In partnership with the parks and recreation departments of Algonquin and Lake in the Hills, we'll be going to different parks and celebrating with storytimes, giveaways, and fun! 

Schedule: (subject to change without notice) 

Spella Park: 10–11 am (west side entrance)

Cornish Park: 11:30 am–12:30 pm

Barbara Key Park: 1:30–2 pm

Echo Hill Park: 2:30–3:30 pm

Towne Park: 4–5 pm (Washington St parking)
Weekly Kids Craft
Youth • Pickup Begins Tue, June 1
Stop at the Youth Services Desk or Branch Desk and pick up everything you will need to complete a craft at home.

Crafts available while supplies last. No registration required.

Stranger than Fiction

Outdoor Movie Night
Ages 8+ • Fri, June 4 at 8:30 pm
Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and masks to join as we watch The Sandlot on a big screen at the Library parking lot. We'll be sitting in properly socially distanced groups.

Please register each family together under one adult's name, and then add other attendees as guests. In case of inclement weather the program will be cancelled. Please check with the Library for updates. The movie will start at dusk. Parking will be in the front lot or on the street.
Worth 1000 Words Camera Club

Cozy mystery fans, this club is for you!

Our theme this month is Medical Mayhem! Read a cozy of your choice featuring doctors, nurses, etc., and share it with the group. 
Yoga for All on the Library Patio

An outdoor yoga class where everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners can learn and benefit. Masks are mandatory.
