A Few Things to Know Before You Go!

We are so excited to see you in NYC! We've put together a list of important items to help you prepare for a successful IDEC Annual Meeting. Please read through the list carefully as you make your final preparations.

Before You Arrive

  • Download the app using the link below. Review the conference schedule.
  • Pay attention to the weather! Use Weather.com or another weather app due to the unpredictable March weather in NYC.
  • Familiarize yourself with the NYC Subway system. Use the link below for maps and general information. Connect your device to either Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • You can use the conference app to share your arrival times with other attendees and coordinate ride shares together! Simply download the conference app, navigate to the “community,” and find the Airport Ride Sharing post. Or, you can simply use this link: Airport Ride Sharing.

Once You Arrive

  • Pick up your name badge. Head to the Registration area on the east side of the lobby near the escalators to the lower level. For security purposes, all attendees are required to wear their badge as their ticket to all conference events.
  • There will be several opportunities for Meals on Your Own. A list of local restaurants is available in the app. Review the schedule to plan your time.

To be more eco-friendly, we are using the Whova conference event app. You can now download the conference app to your mobile device, and start planning your time at the conference. It will be your one-stop resource for the 2024 Annual Meeting! To download the app:

  2. Create an account using the email address you used for registration.
  3. The IDEC 2024 Annual Meeting should pop up or you can search for it using the search bar.
  4. And that's it! Explore all of the conference sessions, programs, and activities now to plan your time!

Please note: There will not be a printed program at the conference. Please download the app before you arrive!
