If your schedule permits during the annual meeting, you can go through  Level 1 and 2 coach certification, Level 3 coach certification, or ALTS instructor certification.

2019 USMS Annual Meeting
Details below to plan your trip to this year's meeting
2019 Annual Meeting Logo
USMS's annual meeting begins on Sept. 11. The annual meeting page at usms.org contains the schedule, USAS registration links, travel information, hotel reservation links, and more. Additional information will be posted soon. Please be sure to check back frequently to see if any sections have been updated.
Delegate Registration
Everyone attending or presenting at any meeting MUST be registered for the convention. Online registration is open and available for individuals who prefer to pay by credit card, and you can register as many attendees as you like during the session. For those who prefer to register by mail/check, please use the delegate registration form and mail it with your check.
  • Please note: When registering on the USAS website, there will be an opt-in ONLY for printed programs (which include a printed copy of the USMS schedule, national officers, leadership, and staff); this will be a transition year to having printed programs. USAS will have all the information that would be in the program available on its website. Go green! 
Full Convention Registration:
  • Postmarked by Aug. 22: $180
  • Postmarked by Aug. 23 or later: $210

Partial Convention Registration  (does not include the Saturday evening Awards banquet) :
  • One Day: $75
  • Two Day: $140

Hotel Reservations
Hotel information can be found on the 2019 Annual Meeting website. You are responsible for making your hotel reservations. You can also call to make reservations (1-314-655-1234). The room block closes Aug. 9 or when it fills, whichever happens first. Once a reservation is made, there is a nonrefundable one-night cancellation charge. 
Air Transportation
St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) (14 miles)
Land Transportation

Driving Directions: Driving directions can be obtained by using the following address: 315 Chestnut Street / St. Louis, MO 63102.

Parking: Self-park is $30/day, valet parking is $40/day for delegates and volunteers.

Internet in Sleeping Rooms: Complimentary internet is included in guest rooms ($4.95 per day for upgraded bandwidth).

Certification Table: The certification table will be open on Wednesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (vendor area), Thursday 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. (vendor area), and Thursday 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. (House of Delegates Room). If you're unable to make those times, please find Mary Hull from Thursday afternoon through Saturday.

Meet the next representatives of USMS!
Those attending the 2019 annual meeting can now get to know those up for a position in the 2019 elections

This election cycle, we will elect USMS officers (president, vice president of administration, vice president of community services, vice president of local operations, vice president of programs, secretary, and treasurer).

All the candidates can be reviewed in the consolidated election packet that will be updated as necessary. 
Important Delegate List Reminder
We need to know who will be attending!
LMSC Chairs: Please submit the names and contact information for your delegates ASAP to Volunteer Services, if you haven't done so already. These were due July 15.
Chairs of Finance, Legislation, Long Distance, and Rules Committees: Please contact your committee members and report to Volunteer Services if any members from your committee will not be attending the annual meeting.

Please note these important deadlines
Aug. 1: All proposed rule or code changes from Rules, Long Distance, and Legislation Committees are due to Volunteer Services .  

Aug. 1:  Committee chairs and special appointments send their annual reports to their vice presidents using the USMS committee report template. Those who will be having a meeting at the annual meeting also send their agendas.

Aug. 15: Vice presidents send their committees' annual reports and agendas to Volunteer Services

Members of the Executive Committee also submit their annual reports and the reports from the liaisons and special appointments they oversee.

Aug. 15 All proposed rule or code changes are posted on the annual meeting page.

Early September: Annual meeting packet is posted on the 2019 annual meeting page.
