Nir Family YMCA's 6-Lane Pool Update

In the Final Stages

We are on track to complete the inspection process next week (September 4 - 10). Our team is finalizing the finishing touches in our pool to ensure our members have an enjoyable swimming experience. We will notify members of our re-opening date soon.

Starting, Tuesday September 5

Lap swimming activities will continue at the Robert Strange Pool. Please refer to the YMCA app or our website for available lap swim times, as we are sharing the pool with our swim team.

What to Look Forward To...



• New retractable roof with opening for fresh air and light
• New insulated glass windows and doors surrounding pool area
• New and improved pool deck flooring with trench drains
• New air heaters in pool area
• Freshly painted pool
• New pool equipment for improved water quality

Labor Day Hours

Cool Off at Our Outdoor Pools!

YMCA branches will be closed on Labor Day, September 4, but our Legion Stadium and Robert Strange outdoor pools will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for open swim time! Plus, Slice of Ice food truck is planning to stop by Legion Stadium Pool with some sweet treats to help you stay cool!
