This program is designed to support establish women business owners drive customer loyalty and increase sales using leadership, brand storytelling and digital tools.

Join the WBDC as we develop your business’s brand story. Together we will focus on how your business uniquely solves your customer’s problems, all while finding digital resources and tools to highlight your story and reach new markets.

 

This program is specifically designed in response to requests for further learning from WBDC program alumni from across the years. Product and services businesses of all industries are welcome, and businesses with $50,000 in yearly revenue with 2+ employees or contractors will most benefit from the program.

Build Your Brand with ScaleHigher (How this cohort will help)

ScaleHigher brings together traditional business education, leadership skills building, and digital skills knowledge together into one cohort. Business owners will receive training from subject matter experts and hands-on learning opportunities that include:


  • Learn From Experts: Gain valuable insights from leadership coaches and build your business around your unique leadership style. Work with storytelling experts to build your brand story and leverage it to drive sales.
  • Meet Peer Partners: Learn from fellow co-founders and entrepreneurs with peer support activities that provide Cohort participants a structured and safe opportunity to share, support, learn and network.
  • Leverage Digital Tools to Grow Sales: Build knowledge of an array of digital tools that will help increase sales and streamline business operations. Work one-on-one with a Digital Tools Coach to identify how you can incorporate digital tools into your business.
  • Join Weekly “Office Hours”: Share ideas and business challenges in an inclusive, supportive, and creative virtual environment to gain insights from peers, mentors and WBDC’s professional team of business advisors. 


Thanks to the generous sponsorship of U.S. Bank, each graduate of this program will receive a $1,000 scholarship to invest in a new digital tool for their business.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Be an established business owner (2+ years in business)
  • Identify as a Black Indigenous Woman of Color (BIPOC)
  • Two or more years in business
  • Business located in Chicago


Committed to attending all 10 weeks of virtual learning via Zoom, September 13 – November 15, 2022
