Greetings in cold December, Friends
There's nothing like a pair of socks for knitting
that goes round and round. Some call it Zen knitting or mindless knitting.
I like to think of it as comfort knitting that I can pick up and not be thinking much, yet still see the stitches accumulate.
I'm going to cast on a December sock project using Crazy Zauberball since that's my favorite sock yarn. It holds up well in the laundry and is warm inside the boots that I wear.
Over Thanksgiving, I was knitting hats. In these weeks leading up to Christmas and New Year's, I'll do socks.

I'm going to throw in a photo of my favorite geranium at the end of this email. It's a brilliant cerise pink color. When I have my morning coffee in the sunroom, the geraniums speak summer even though the outside is decidedly winter here in Michigan.
