JFS Meal Delivery Provides

 Comfort and Care

JFS Kosher Meals on Wheels (KMOW) staff and volunteers deliver 3,000 nutritious meals each month to seniors in Middlesex County. Many of our KMOW seniors live alone with limited access to transportation. The assurance of having a prepared kosher meal delivered by a friendly volunteer helps seniors live a more stable, engaged life. When Mrs. E (pictured left) felt that she needed assistance with meals, she was referred to JFS for this critical service.

A retired visiting nurse herself, Mrs. E finds that she enjoys the kindness and caring shown by her drivers. She also has a favorite meal,"I used to not eat meat, but since I've joined the KMOW program, I can't get enough of those turkey sandwiches. They're so good!" Good food, combined with the devotion shown by JFS volunteers helps to ensure that the homebound seniors in our community are well fed and cared for.

If you know a homebound Middlesex County senior who would benefit from JFS KMOW, please call 732.777.1940 or email office@jfsmiddlesex.org. To become a volunteer driver for our KMOW program, email our Director of Volunteer Services at michelleb@jfsmiddlesex.org today. Thank you.
