Marquette proposes to cut or modify 15 programs

We were made aware that today's edition of the Marquette Tribune has the incorrect story printed on the front page. You can find the correct story on our website.

Marquette University intends to cut $31 million from the budget as part of the Securing Our Future plan. 15 programs have been recommended for termination. They will convert to a "teach-out" model so current students may finish their degrees.

40% of the money from the budget cuts will be reinvested back into the university. Marquette Wire Stock Photo.
