Honoring Pro-Life Pastors at Bowties!
Ask Your Senator: Vote No to the ERA
Our Bowties for Babies Soiree in Baton Rouge next to the Capitol that supports our Advertise for Life project is next Thursday, May 9 Tickets are still available! It is a fun evening for life... and don't forget your hats and bowties!

At Bowties, we will be recognizing Pastors Jonathan and Larry Stockstill of Bethany Church with the Leadership for Life Award for their longtime dedication to the pro-life cause. It is essential that all church clergy take a proactive role in defending life. Ever since Larry's father, Roy, was a pastor, he did just that, helping to found pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and more. Larry and now Jonathan have continued Roy's legacy. We applaud them and all proactive pro-life clergy across Louisiana!

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

P.S. The Legislative Session is about halfway done! Next week, our Love Life Amendment heads to a Senate Committee, and the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which we oppose, will be voted on the Senate floor. Send an email to your Senator asking them to vote NO to the ERA!

Love Life Amendment Gets 2/3 Vote in House, Moves to Senate for Hearing, Floor Vote
HB 425, the Love Life Amendment to the Louisiana Constitution, is halfway through the legislative process as it makes its way to the October ballot. The bill, authored by Katrina Jackson (D-Monroe), received the necessary 2/3 vote in the House of Representatives last Tuesday during Pro-Life Day at the Capitol. It will be considered in the Senate Judiciary A Committee next Tuesday, May 7! The Love Life Amendment must receive 2/3 vote of both the House and the Senate to be put on the ballot on Oct. 12. There, Louisiana’s registered voters will have the chance to ensure that there is no right to abortion or to taxpayer funding of abortion in Louisiana’s constitution.
