Point Defiance Mushroom Hike

Point Defiance Park

(Age 16+) Free! Discover the world of fungi on a guided hike through the old growth forest of Point Defiance. Park Guides will introduce you to mushroom identification, the science of fungi, laws and ethics of harvesting mushrooms, and more.

Adult Co-ed Volleyball

November 7-January 9, 2025; Thursday Nights

Join the Metro Parks Tacoma Adult Coed Volleyball League for a season of competitive play and social interaction. Double headers will be held every Thursday night at the Center at Norpoint starting November 7.

• Sign up your entire team, or sign up as an individual to be placed on a team.
• Registration open until November 4. Games are played November 7- January 9.

Junior Hiker Program

Put on a costume and explore the wildlife park at twilight! Lights, animals and spookiness - and candy too. Play games in the picnic pavilion - skeeball, plinko and bag tosses. And snap those adorable spooky photos.

Dia de los Muertos

Join the Calavera Collective on October 26 for Dia de los Muertos featuring local artists, Mexican food, a community altar and more. This commemoration will be in Spanish with interpretation in English.
