The reimagined Kaleideum opens in February 2024, and every twist and turn in this experiential learning museum reveals surprising possibilities — just like the kaleidoscope after which the museum was named. This kaleidoscopic adventure continues with a sensory pathway mural adorning the side of the museum along Town Run Lane.

Looking for a gift that will keep on giving all year (and life) long? Give the gift of experience with a membership to Kaleideum — where lifelong learning collides with discovery in a brand-new location in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Individuals and families that buy before December 31 will lock in up to $100 in savings on an annual membership that can fill their loved ones' New Year with more experiential learning and fun than ever before. The reimagined experiential learning museum will open in February 2024 at the 120 W 3^rd Street location, and will have two Members Only days before the Grand Opening. Admission prices will increase from $10 to $15 per person to better align with other North Carolina museums. Prices on memberships will also increase in early January; for example, the most popular membership — the Super — will increase from $150 to $250.

Kaleideum is operating throughout December at the Kaleideum North location, 400 W Hanes Mills Road. Kaleideum North's last day of operation will be for the Noon Year’s Eve event on Sunday, December 31. Everyone who is a member on December 31 will receive a two-month extension of membership to account for the time that Kaleideum will be closed to move to the new location.

Close Down Kaleideum North with Us on Noon Year's Eve!

Ring in the NOON YEAR Kaleideum style at our Noon Year’s Eve Party. Today is the LAST DAY that Kaleideum North will be open, so don’t miss out on the fun for all ages with crafts, music, a dance party, and a balloon drop! The Nooon Year's Eve Party and Kaleideum Closing Bash is included with admission or membership.

Sunday, December 31, will be the last day that Kaleideum North is open. The museum will close during January and reopen in mid February at its new location: 120 West Third Street in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Kaleideum is now open Tuesday-Saturday

9 am-5 pm, Saturday 10 am-5 pm, and Sunday 1-5 pm.

Kaleideum is closed on Mondays.
