New Iberia Main Street Program and the Downtown Business Association, Inc. are pleased to announce that the Downtown Spring ArtWalk will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4 - 7 p.m. to coincide with Cycle Zydeco.
They invite you to experience the heart of the community as you stroll along beautiful award-winning historic Main Street New Iberia.
The walk begins at the Shadows-on-the-Teche (107 E. Main St.) and includes both sides of Main Street, Colby Hebert (Chapelier) in Church Alley and Taunt NaNa's, A&E Gallery, the Henton House and NILA Gallery on West St. Peter Street. A&E Gallery will have a wine and cheese opening reception for its ZydeQuin art exhibit featuring fine art on mannequins.
The Pine Leaf Boys will play at the Steamboat Pavilion. Paul Allain, a New Iberia architect, is the sponsor of the music.
Come meet working artists and discover some of their best art including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, handcrafted items, pottery, woodcraft, yard art and jewelry.
