September Is Ready to Rock

Welcome to the new 'monthly' Spotlight News! Each month, we’ll share what’s happening at the Community Concert Hall, along with special performances, artist interviews, and stories from behind the scenes.

We’re kicking things off in September with two incredible performances.

On September 18, Get the Led Out launches our 2026–27 season. Led Zeppelin was one of my favorites “back in the day,” so I always get especially excited when this show comes to the Hall. If you’ve seen them before, you know the energy they bring. If you haven’t, this is your chance to experience it.

We’ll also welcome singer-songwriter Liz Longley for our Backstage Pass Concert Series. With the audience seated on stage and only 100 seats available, it’s a rare opportunity to experience an amazing artist in a truly intimate setting.

Don’t wait to get your tickets for either performance. Let’s fill the Hall, pack the stage, and start the season together.

I’ll see you there.

Charles Leslie

Director, Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.

SEPTEMBER PERFORMANCES

Get The Led Out Brings the Thunder of “The Mighty Zep” to the Concert Hall

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Get The Led Out—dubbed “The American Led Zeppelin”—will bring the fire, fury and mystique of rock’s most legendary catalog to the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College on September 18 at 7:30 p.m.
The Philadelphia-based group features six veteran musicians who recreate Led Zeppelin’s recorded music with its layered depth and studio power. This is no costume act—no wigs, fake accents or imitation. When a song calls for three guitars, GTLO puts three guitarists onstage to capture the overdubs, textures and musical muscle of the original recordings.
Focused on Zeppelin’s early years, the band delivers towering anthems, rarely performed deep cuts, and a special acoustic set featuring favorites such as “Tangerine” and “Hey Hey What Can I Do.”
Tickets and Dance Floor Access
Reserved tickets are $40, $50, $60, and $65, including applicable service fees. A limited number of dance floor access add-ons are available for $5 each. Each guest must have both a reserved show ticket and a dance floor wristband. Access is limited to 100 guests, and no drinks are permitted on the dance floor.
You may pick up wristbands at the Concert Hall Box Office or Guest Services beginning one hour before showtime. If available, you may also purchase add-ons at the Box Office then.
Liz Longley Brings Her Remarkable Voice to Backstage Pass Concerts
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Liz Longley brings her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice and deeply emotional blend of folk, pop and Americana to the Community Concert Hall’s intimate Backstage Pass Concert Series on September 30 at 7:30 p.m.
A gifted storyteller and magnetic performer, Longley has earned accolades from prestigious songwriting competitions, including the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition. Her acclaimed albums have been praised by Forbes, Billboard and HuffPost for their emotional honesty, wit and musical range.
Longley’s independently released album "Funeral for My Past" became a remarkable success after fans contributed more than $150,000 through Kickstarter. Her latest album, "New Life", reflects the greater depth and perspective she gained after becoming a mother while continuing her evolution as an artist.
Experience Longley’s expressive voice and personal storytelling from just a few feet away in the relaxed, up-close setting of Backstage Pass Concert Series.
Tickets are $38 for general admission, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
